Latham Lees Baxendale was originally formed in the 1920’s as “W H Latham & Co” headed by William Latham and partnered by David Denton as a firm of Chartered Accountants operating from 12 Park Street, Lytham.

Over the years the firm continued to operate under this name providing excellent professional Accountancy services to its well established clientele until January 1994 when David Lees and his colleague David Costa acquired control of the partnership and formed Latham Lees Costa and at the same time purchasing the small business section from a neighbouring Accountant to further their business.

Latham Lees Costa continued to prosper for many years to come increasing their business services and offering their vast knowledge to their valued clients until eventually in late 2011 the partnership split allowing for David Lees to provide his valued Professionalism and Accounting experience through his newly formed Limited company “Latham Lees Limited.” At this time Latham Lees Limited moved premises to a couple doors down to 10 Park Street, Lytham ensuring that the practice could still offer its services to the local community.

Latham Lees Limited continued operating from this address under the helm of David Lees until August 2023 when they merged with another local Accountant, named Steve Baxendale, known to David Lees for over 20 years and finally forming the practice “Latham Lees Baxendale.” Operations moved to our new Poulton offices with both David Lees and Steve Baxendale offering a wealth of experience between them to their valued clients.
